Donations and Support

Freedom House Incorporated Needs Your Help!

Rear Interior

The Freedom House is a non-profit corporation whose survival and continuous operation depends on generous donors like you. Please help support our efforts to provide these men in recovery with a comfortable and conducive environment for personal recovery.

Your contribution will help us provide these men with healthy meals, laundry detergent, linens (sheets, towels, blankets, wash cloths, etc.), emergency hygiene items, internet access (for job searches), new mattresses, and box springs. These donations will also help maintain our high utility costs as well as the continual upkeep that is required to keep the Freedom House property up to standard.

Monetary Donations:

Monetary donations can be made payable by cash, check, money order, or certified cashier’s check and made out to “Freedom House Incorporated”. All donations are tax deductible and a receipt of donation will be provided. Donations can be mailed to the house or dropped off in person. If mailed, your receipt will be mailed out to you as soon as possible.

Non-Monetary Donations:

Cash is not the only way to help. The Freedom House also accepts other forms of generosity such as professional services rendered, household items (lamps, furniture, rugs, dishes, Tupperware (with lids), computers (newer and working), pots & pans, etc.), lawn mowers, leaf blowers, rakes, shovels, weed eaters, and more.

Current Needs:

Currently, the Freedom House is in need of the following items:

  1. Any furniture is always welcomed
  2. Kitchen items such as tupperware with lids
  3. New Mattresses and Box Springs (any number helps but in need of 10 of each)
  4. Cleaning Supplies for general cleaning purposes
  5. Clean blankets, sheets, and pillows (in good condition)
  6. Perishable and non-perishable items
  7. Beef, Chicken, and Pork

Thank you for your support! Loving and supportive people like you keep us in operation and allow us to provide these men with most supportive and comfortable recovery environments in Fort Wayne.
